3. Happy Birthday George Washington!: Though today is now officially considered President’s Day, a day when all American presidents are recognized, today originally recognized first U.S. President George Washington’s birthday (which is actually on Feb. 22).

 

 

4. NJ Transit Schedule: The Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex, Montclair-Boonton and Port Jervis lines are following the weekend/major holiday schedule. Bus routes will vary so please visit njtransit.com for details.

 

 

5. Take Heart Blankets for Love: New baby blankets for the cardiac intensive care unit of the Children’s Hospital of of Philadelphia are currently being collected. The most local drop off location is at Cartridge World, located at 64 Village Center Drive in Freehold. For more information, click here.
