2. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: Today the nation celebrates the most influential African-American rights advocate, Martin Luther King, Jr., a major leader of the African-American Civil Rights Movement. From a Baptist minister to the youngest man ever to receive a Nobel Peace Prize, King embodied strong morality and fearless determination. 3. What’s Closed Today?:

  • All Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools and Freehold Regional Schools ()

4. NJ Transit Schedule Today: All NJ Transit trains will operate on the “major holiday/weekend” schedule. The schedule of NJ Transit busses will vary by route, and some may be affected so please visit the NJ Transit Web site for more information or call (973)-275-5555. 

 

 

5. MERS Summer Program 2012 Enrollment Open: Enrollment for Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School’s Summer Program 2012 is now open! Classes will be held at from July 9 to Aug. 9. Enrollment is limited and courses will close when they are full. Registration must be received by May 1, however, some may be accepted based on available space.
