Five Things to Know Today: Jan. 20, 2012

1. Sunny Day, Snowy Night: Today will be mostly sunny with a high around 36 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight, there is a 70 percent chance of snow which will probably fall after 1 a.m. The low tonight will hit a frigid 25, so bundle up! New snow accumulation will reach less than one inch.

 

 

2. Yearbook: You may not be thinking of the end of the school year yet, (or maybe you’re already dreaming about it!) but now is the time to purchase your high school yearbook. To order yours (or purchase one for your child) click here.

3. Bowling Night: Attention teenagers - grab your friends and your bowling shoes and head to tonight for Teen Night! When you present a coupon (which you can find ) every child gets to bowl for 2 hours, rent shoes, an individual pizza, and a small drink. Up to five children can use one coupon.

4. Weekend Events at the Library: Head to the this weekend for two wonderful events! On Saturday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. NJ Film School Director Chris Messineo will lead a film discussion entitled where he will show movie clips from Allen’s movies and talk about filmmaking. On Sunday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. a multimedia program entitled is about the connection between Robert Schumann, his wife Clara, and Johannes Brahms. Classical music will be performed live. Both programs are free.
