1. Another Warm and Sunny One: The National Weather Service is calling for a sunny day and high temperature around 71 degrees. Tonight, the sky will remain clear and the temperature will drop to a low of about 42.



2. Government:

  • The Manalapan Township Committee is holding their Public Meeting tonight in the courtroom of the at 8 p.m. For tonight’s agenda, click here.



3. County Registration for Spring Programs: If you are interested in any of this spring’s programs offered by the Monmouth County Parks System - today is the day registration begins. Registration for spring programs begins at 8 a.m. online, in-person at Thompson Park Headquarters, Lincroft, or by calling 732-842-4000, ext 1.

4. : The Monmouth County Library Teen Advisory Board meets tonight at at 7:30 p.m. The Teen Advisory Board is a great and easy way for local teenagers to gain community service hours. Come out and meet new friends, have a snack and share your ideas for teen programming, teen collections, and more.



5. Where are you Celebrating St. Paddy’s?: Patch’s new initiative, “Reader’s Choice” get’s Irish this week as we are asking readers to vote for their favorite place to celebrate on St. Patrick’s Day! Haven’t voted yet? !

I forgot to add a "sixth thing"...Happy Pi Day! Today, March 14 (3/14) celebrates the number pi (3.14..). For those of you who don't know, the number pi is the number ratio of a circle's circumference to it's diameter.
