Five Things to Know Today: Nov. 23, 2011

A compilation of the need to know info and events going on in, and around, Manalapan Township and the Borough of Englishtown.

1. Wet Weather Continues: There is the possibility of a thunderstorm before 10 a.m. along with some rain showers. Then, there is a 90 percent chance of precipitation for the rest of the day, according to the National Weather Service. The high temperature will near 61. Tonight there will remain a 20 percent chance of rain, but the mostly cloudy skies will gradually dissipate. The low temperature will drop to around 33 and high winds with gusts as strong as 37 mph are being reported.

 

 

2. Early Dismissal Today: All schools within the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District and will have an early dismissal today. Schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving Recess.

3. Duplicate Bridge at the Library: Enjoy a challenging game of Duplicate Bridge at the from noon to 3:30 p.m.
