1. Showery and Warm: The National Weather Service is calling for an 80 percent chance of rain today, which will most likely fall after 2 p.m. The good news is that the high temperature today will reach a pleasant 67 degrees. Tonight, the rain continues and the low temperature falls to chilly a 45.

3. Foreign Film Screening at Library: There are two chances to watch , a French drama based on the novel “Elle s’appelait Sarah” by Tatiana de Rosnay, at the today. Starring Kristin Scott Thomas, Melusine Mayance and Niels Arestrup, the story follows a journalist in Paris whose life becomes intertwined with a young girl whose family was ripped apart in 1942.  The movie will show at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

 

 

4. FEMA Extends Deadline for Irene: Were you one of the many residents whose home was damaged during Hurricane Irene in late August? The to Jan. 23, 2012, under the National Flood Insurance Program.

 

 

5. Lego Club: The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here - at the Library! Children in kindergarten and higher can listen to a story and enjoy constructing a lego creation! The Lego Club meets at 4:15 p.m. at the , legos will be supplied.
