3. Emergency Alert System Test Today: The first Nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System will take place today at 2 p.m. EST. "The purpose of the test is to assess the reliability and effectiveness of the EAS as a public alert mechanism," the FCC said.

 

 

4. Children in grades kindergaten and up can learn how to fold origami and listen to stories at the today at 4:15 p.m.

 

 

5. Hire a Veteran: Veteran in need of a job? Head on up to Merri Makers Catering at the PNC Reception Center in Holmdel for from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. This job fair aims at helping those who have served our country get a job.
