4. Respect Week: The new anti-bullying law that went into effect this past September designates a “Week of Respect” each year which begins today, Oct. 3 and goes until Friday, Oct. 7. The “Week of Respect” will begin the first Monday of October every year. Districts throughout the state “are directed to observe the week by providing age-appropriate instruction focusing on preventing harassment, intimidation, or bullying,” the law states.

 

5. Lock your Doors: Recently, there have been reports of high-end, newer cars being stolen overnight from driveways in the area. The Manalapan Police Department is warning people to lock their car doors and make sure that the car keys are not left within the car. To read more about the recent thefts, click .
