1. Temps Plummet Tonight: The National Weather Service is calling for a Hazardous Weather Outlook. There is a chance of isolated strong thunderstorms today which may produce gusty winds and a short spurt of heavy rain. Also, a short period of about 30 mph - 40 mph winds will pass through between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. as a strong cold front moves through the area - this will also produce a sharp drop in temperature. Chance of precipitation today is 60 percent. The high temperature will be 80 during the day, and the low will pummel to 45 tonight.

5. Back to School Night at MHS: It’s that time of year again! For the parents to hit the classrooms! night at begins this evening at 6:30 p.m. School will follow an early dismissal schedule so that teachers and administrators can prepare.
