1. Wet Weather: According to the National Weather Service, there is an 80 percent chance of rain today, which will most likely fall before 2 p.m.; high of 78. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low near 56. There is a chance of showers before midnight.

 

 

2. Schools Out!: and all Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools are closed today and tomorrow for Rosh Hashana.

3. Flu Vaccinations: Miss the Monmouth County Health Department vaccinations in Englishtown on Tuesday? Head on over to CentraState Medical Center today between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to get vaccinated! No insurance will be accepted, the cost is $25 and only cash and checks will be accepted. The vaccine will only be administered to people over three years of age. CentraState is located at 901 W. Main St. in Freehold.

5. National Good Neighbor Day: Today is National Good Neighbor Day! So, if you see your neighbor bringing in some groceries - lend a hand. Manalapan should be a friendly, neighborly place - not just today, but everyday. This is just a friendly reminder, wrapped in an unofficial national holiday!
