JCP&L Working on 2 Damaged Electrical Substations in Manalapan

Manalapan is one of the six municipalities in Monmouth County with the largest contingent of power crews present.

The Manalapan Office of Emergency Management has issued new information regarding the power outages:

  • The power crews of Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) have been working twenty-four hours a day to restore electricity in all areas of the township.
  • The crews continue to work on the Gordons Corner Road and Texas Road electrical substations - which both sustained significant damage.
  • More and more homes in Manalapan are getting power each day, including those in Monmouth Heights and Covered Bridge.
  • Manalapan is one of the six municipalities in Monmouth County with the largest contingent of power crews present.
