JCP&L Working to Restore Power to Last 10 Percent of Manalapan

JCP&L has one of the largest contingents of power crews present in Manalapan Township

Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) has one of the largest contingents of power crews present in Manalapan Township - one of six municipalities in Monmouth County, according to the municipal government.

The Township said that they are continuing to work with JCP&L to restore the remaining 10 percent of Manalapan that is still in the dark.

JCP&L will be working on the following streets that control the surrounding areas:

  • Church Lane
  • Devonshire
  • Freehold-Englishtown Road
  • Kinney Road
  • Iron Ore Road
  • Lambs Lane
  • Pension Road
  • Route 522
  • Saratoga
  • Symmes Drive
  • Thompson Grove Road

If you do not live on the above street list and are without power, the Township wishes to assure that they are aware of your power outage and that they are doing everything possible to get it restored, including speaking with the Vice President of JCP&L Mark Jones.

Additionally, if you do have power a temporary interruption in service may occur as JCP&L works to restore power for other residents.

So they are not working on McCaffery Road, and have no plans to do so?

I heard a couple of hours ago that there's about 8-10 JCP&L trucks on McCaffery Road
