Manalapan Woman Indicted on Obtaining Drug by Fraud Charge

Erika Saviano was indicted by the Grand Jury of Monmouth County for allegedly receiving the prescription Vicodin by fraud within Manalapan Township.

Manalapan woman Erika Saviano, 43, was indicted by the Monmouth County Grand Jury last week on an obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud charge.

According to the indictment issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Saviano obtained the drug Vicodin by fraud within Manalapan Township on March 24 of this year.

Vicodin is a hydrocodone/acetaminophen drug used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain.

Regardless of the charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution and state law.
