NJ Transit to Hold Customer Feedback Forum Tuesday

Officials will be on hand at Newark Penn Station to hear customers' concerns and questions

NJ Transit commuters now have a chance to let their opinion be known.

The transportation agency will hold a customer forum Tuesday night at Newark Penn Station to provide Transit users a direct opportunity to speak with senior executives and managers, spokesperson John Durso, Jr. explained.

"This customer forum is coming toward the end of our current customer survey, which will conclude on Friday evening. We have been encouraging our customers to log on to our website and take our survey and give NJ Transit their honest assessments. What are we doing right? What can we do better?" Durso, Jr. said.

The "We Are Listening" Forum for customers will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28 in the main concourse and corrider near the bus lanes and light rail exit doors at Newark Penn Station.

If you don't have time to attend but would like to share your feedback, you can fill out a survey online.

The survey asks bus, rail, light rail and Access Link customers to rate NJ Transit on a scale of 0 to 10, as well as consider 41 attributes of the system related to facilities, service, vehicles, communications and the overall experience.

A second forum will be held at Trenton Transit Center on Thursday, Aug. 30, also from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
