Manalapan Township has reported that power has been restored to 99 percent of the households, but the Township is continuing to work with Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) to bring electricity back to the entire community.
As of Wednesday afternoon, 231 Manalapan residents are without power, according to the JCP&L website.
According to the local government JCP&L crews are working on the following streets and surrounding areas:
- Church Lane
- Dey Grove Road
- Fallswood Lane
- Iron Ore Road
- McCaffrey Road
JCP&L Vice Presidents Mark Jones and Area Manager Jerry Ricciardi have advised the Township that total restoration is expected in Manalapan by Nov. 10 or Nov. 11. The progress JCP&L makes is dependent on the nor'easter which is bringing in high winds, rain, and snow.
Please be advised that if you do have electricity, there may be an interruption in service temporarily as power is restored to other residents.
