Road Closes While Iron Ore Bridge is Replaced
The construction project will last until about July 9.
Iron Ore Road (Route 527a) will be closed between Dey Grove Road and Mount Vernon Road while the bridge is being replaced. The road will be closed beginning around Tuesday, April 2 and the construction project is expected to last until about July 9, according to Monmouth County.
Please plan an alternate route during this time or follow the posted detour signs.
The Manalapan Township Police Department would like to remind all drivers to be more alert and attentave while driving in a construction zone; traffic fines are doubled in a construction zone, as well.
