Board of Education

The Board of Education is meeting at Wemrock Brook School on Tuesday, March 5. The meeting will begin with a viewing of the Permanent Art Collection at 7 p.m.; refreshments will be served. A presentation about the collection will take place at 7:30 p.m. and the Board meeting will follow.

First Grade Registration

First grade registration will take place on Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7 at each elementary school. from 10 a.m. until noon. Please call each school to set up an appointment. Manalapan High School Events

HSPA Testing

HSPA testing begins for Manalapan High School students on Tuesday, March 5 and goes through Thursday, March 7. Schools will have an early dismissal schedule on these days.

Teen Driver Safety Program

The Teen Driver Safety Program is scheduled to take place at Manalapan High School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7. Junior students must apply for a high school parking permit for the senior year so students and their parents are required the FRHSD Driver Safety Program. The student program will take place during the school day and the parent program will take place at the school at 6:30 p.m. Click here to learn more about the district’s Teen Driver Safety program.

Drug Use Presentation

The Manalapan/Englishtown Community Alliance will be hosting an informative presentation entitled Sobering Statistics: Drug Use in Monmouth County. The presentation will take place on March 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the Manalapan Senior Center. Please RSVP to Lisa Mollicone (732) 446-8417.

Government Meetings

The Transportation Committee is meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building on Wednesday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m.

The Manalapan Township Zoning Board is meeting in the courtroom of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 7. A public hearing on a proposed six-foot fence variance will take place. For the full agenda, click here.
