Week Ahead: Manalapan HS Athletic Awards Ceremony

The Manalapan Township Committee meeting has been moved from Wednesday to Tuesday of this week. The public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 at 8 p.m. in the courtroom of the Manalapan Township Muncipal Building.

The Manalapan Planning Board meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday at 8 p.m., has been cancelled.

• The Cable TV Advisory is meeting in room 213 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
• Finance Committee is meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
• The Shade Tree Committee is meeting in room 213 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
• The Economic Development Council is meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
• The Teen Leadership Committee is meeting in the downstairs portion of the Police Department of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
• The Municipal Agricultural Advisory Committee is meeting in room 213 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Schools

The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education is meeting on Tuesday at Wemrock Brook School 7:30 p.m.

The Manalapan High School Athletic Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Monmouth County Library

Children can learn all about dinosaurs at the Monmouth County Library on Monday. “Dig into Dinosaurs! a Monmouth Museum Traveling Trunk Show” will be holding a hands-on presentation on Thursday at 4 p.m. There will be one presentation for children in preschool through second grade and a second presentation for children in kindergarten and higher.

If you’re looking to get healthy and have some fun, come to the Monmouth County Library on Wednesday for a Let Your Yoga Dance Movement Class. The class is a fusion of dance and yoga and is taught by certified instructor Talena Ward.
