Week Ahead: New Science & Technology Group Starts at Library

A list of what is going on in Manalapan and Englishtown this week!

Government Meetings

  • The Manalapan Teen CERT is meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 25.
  • The Manalapan Cable TV Advisory Board is meeting in room 213 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 25.
  • The Manalapan Planning Board meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, March 28, has been cancelled.



Monmouth County Library

  • The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program, originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 at 6 p.m., has been cancelled. The next scheduled program will take place at the Monmouth County Library on Thursday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  This tax-aide program helps low to moderate income taxpayers have more discretionary funds for basic needs through tax service assistance and ensuring that applicable tax credits and deductions are received.
  • The Monmouth County Library’s new Science and Technology discussion group is meeting on Thursday, March 28 at 7 p.m. to discuss Artificial Intelligence. Nanotechnology, renewal energy and resources, online learning, regenerative medicine, robotics and synthetic biology are all topics that will be examined. This free group is open to anyone. Registration is recommended. You can register online, in person, or over the phone at 732-431-7220 Ext 7222.
  • The Monmouth County Library will be closed on Friday, March 29 for the holiday weekend. 

 

School Events

The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools and Manalapan High School are closed this week for Spring Recess.
