Graime Reelected to Manalapan-Englishtown Board of Education

Gerald Bruno, Brian Graime, and Christine Parisi have been elected to the Manalapan-Englishtown Board of Education.

The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education had three seats up for grabs. Brian Graime is the only incumbent who ran to reclaim his seat. Diane Bindler chose not to run for reelection because she decided to run for representative of the General Assembly of the 12th district and current board member Michelle Stipelman also chose not to run. Other candidates alongside Graime include Giovanna Braun, Gerald Bruno, Steven Kastell, Alana Nachmani, Christine Parisi, and Joe Tringali.

The unofficial results, provided by the Monmouth County Clerk, indicate that Brian Graime, Christine Parisi, and Gerald Bruno have won.   

The unofficial results as of 10 p.m. on Tuesday are as follows:

  • Gerald Bruno: 23.57 percent
  • Alana Nachmani: 11.74 percent 
  • Brian Graime: 13.94 percent
  • Joe Tringali: 11.78 percent
  • Steven Kastell: 8.33 percent
  • Giovanna Braun: 11.94 percent
  • Christine Parisi: 18.6 percent 

On the Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education, Elizabeth Canario was running for reelection with no challengers. Canario, who represents Englishtown on the Board, won with 99.16 percent of the vote. Both Englishtown Borough residents and Manalapan Township residents voted for this position.
