Concert: Life is a Cabaret

Acclaimed soprano Shannon Hunt, accompanied by pianist
and vocalist Diane Goldsmith, will entertain with a concert of cabaret songs.

Hunt is known for her sparkling coloratura as well as her ability to spin long legato phrases. Equally at home in the opera house and the recital stage, she performs many styles of music, from opera to jazz and oratorio to gospel.

Goldsmith studied piano with Gary Graffman, former director of the Curtis Institute, and holds a master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music. Winner of the Mason & Hamlin competition, she has given recitals in Carnegie Recital Hall - now Weill Hall - and in Lincoln Center.
