Englishtown Knights of Columbus honor Manalapan Police Officer

The Englishtown Council of the Knights of Columbus recently honored Detective Dominick Donatelli JR. with their Officer of the Year award at a ceremony held at their Council Home in Englishgtown. In attendance were Detective Donatelli's wife Veronica and children Brandi and Angelina. Also attending were Special Guest Retired LT. Dominick Donatelli SR and his wife, Mayor Jordan Maskowitz, former Mayor and Committeewoman Susan Cohen and Chief of Police Christopher Marsala. The award was presented to Detective Donatelli by Grand Knight Nicholas Campanella with Officers and Members of the Knights of Columbus in attendance.

Detective Donatelli joined the Manalapan Police Department in April 2001. He has served the community as a member of the Traffic Safety Unit, Field Training Officer, Serious Collision Investigator, Traffic Analysis Management, Firearms Applications Investigator,Radar Instructor and Evidence Officer. He was promoted to Detective in 2013. Detective Donatelli is also currently assigned to the Monmouth County Police Academy as an Instructor as well a the Prosecutors Office as a Member of the Serious Collision Analysis Response Team.

While with the Manalapan Police Department, Detective Danatelli has received the Honorable Service Award for 2007 and 2012, the Exceptional Service Award for 2008 and the Officer of the Year for 2012.
