Basketball tournament for boys and girls grades 4 thru 9

2013 Sunrise Optimist Club Hot Shot Basket Ball Tournament to be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013

 The Sunrise Optimist Club of Freehold will host the 2013 Kylie Pinheiro Memorial Hot Shot Basketball Tournament for boys and girls grades 4 through 9.  This event will be held on Sunday February 10th at the YMCA of Western Monmouth County, 470 East Freehold Rd. Freehold N.J.

 Proceeds from Tournament sponsors will be donated to MADD Mothers against Drunk Drivers-NJ.

 T-Shirt sponsors are needed. Please consider making a $ 100 donation to this event in exchange for your company or family name being included on the back of this year’s T-shirt. Donations are payable to Sunrise Optimist Foundation of Freehold P.O. Box 351 Adelphia, NJ 07710 and are tax deductable.

 The $5.00 per entrant fee made payable to: Sunrise Optimist Foundation of Freehold includes a Hot Shot T-Shirt for all participants and trophies to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

 Starting times are 1:00PM for girls grades 4th through 9th, 2:00PM for boys 4th and 5th grades, 3:00PM for boys 6th and 7th grades, and 3:30PM for boys 8th and 9th grades.  Participants should arrive 1/2 hour before starting time.

The Sunrise Optimist club is a community service organization dedicated to "Bringing out the Best in Kids"and has been A "Friend of Youth" in the Freehold community since 1986. Optimist clubs are members of a world wide civic organization dedicated to serving the youth of their communities.  The membership represents a cross-section of the business, public, social, and cultural life of the Freehold area.
