Fish Tagging Trip

Annual Fluke Tagging Trip in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey
Saturday, June 28, 2014
7 AM - 2 PM
Tickets: $75.00
Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina, Mi-Jo II Boat
2 Simon Lake Drive, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716

Bring
your friends and family and come sail with us off the coast of New
Jersey! Join Jeff Dement, the Society's Fish Tagging Director for a fun
and educational day of fishing and become a citizen scientist by helping
us tag fish safely and responsibly. Started in 1965, our Fish Tagging
program is the world's largest all-volunteer fish tagging program and
the data you collect is sent annually to the National Marine Fisheries
Service in Woods Hole. MA, to better inform fisheries scientists about
the health and status of coastal fish species.

The
$75.00 ticket price includes hot coffee, boat, bait, tackle, fish tags
and fresh fish for your fridge! Feel free to bring your own bait and
tackle. Space is limited.
