Greek tragedy performed live at Library Headquarters

The Next Stage Ensemble players return to Monmouth County Library Headquarters in Manalapan in August to tackle a classic Greek tragedy  on Thursday, August 7 at 7 p.m.

The Libation Bearers is the second in a trilogy written by the Greek classical playwright Aeschylus, and concerns events following the return of the Greek King Agamemnon from the Trojan War, his murder -- and the revenge exacted by his children, Orestes and Electra.

This free performance will be held at Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan 07726.

NextStage Ensemble, a division of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Summer Professional Training Program, was created to nurture the work of early career actors and to train them in ensemble-based performance techniques.
