iPlay America Hosts Fund Raiser for Mikey Nichols March 31

iPlay America Hosts Fund Raiser for Mikey Nichols March 31

iPlayAmerica will host a fund raiser on Monday, March 31, to benefit Monroe, N.J., high school senior Michael “Mikey” Nichols 17, who suffered a fracture to his C5 vertebra during a High School ice hockey game January 4. Nichols, son of Christine and Steven Nichols, was treated at Morristown Medical Center and has since transferred to The Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.

iPlay America will donate 100 percent of ticket-sale proceeds earned from 6 p.m. on to the Nichols family to help defray the costs of his rehabilitation.

iPlay America guests who purchase tickets online in advance will receive a four-hour unlimited ride pass and a $10 game card — a $34 value — for $23. Nichols’ jersey number on the Monroe Falcon’s hockey team is 23. Guests who purchase tickets on-site the day of the event will receive a four-hour unlimited ride pass and a $5 game card.

“We want to maximize the funds we raise for Mikey with at least 1,500 people coming to iPlay America on Monday, March 31,” said Jessica Schwartz, director of marketing and promotions for iPlay America. “The more people who come and participate, the more money we raise for Mikey.”

In addition, the Monroe Township Baseball Association will be on deck with a Tricky Tray auction and sell tickets for signed sports memorabilia, concert tickets, ski resort passes, and other items. iPlay America will also give away a birthday party package, free game cards and many other prizes during the fund raiser.
