MANALAPAN PARKS & RECREATION PRESENTS AWAKENINGS THEATER WORKSHOPPE

Awakenings Theatre Workshoppe gives young potential actors the
opportunity to explore, create and be anything they want to be in a safe
and fun environment. Students will learn
the basics of working on stage through the exploration of
improvisational games, short scripts, monologues and dialogues. The
program helps students recognize their potential for success. In
addition, involvement in the drama class improves reading comprehension
skills, increases self-esteem and enhances both verbal and non-verbal
communication.
Program will conclude with a public stage performance on the 10th session. Grades 4 through 7
Fee is $200.00 per child for ten sessions; class maximum is 15. Thursdays, April 3 through June 12, 6:15 – 7:45 p.m.
Class is held in the Lafayette Mills School Gym
No program: April 17
Awakenings is open to Manalapan residents only.
Class minimum is 6. All fees are non-refundable.
