Your daughter wants to wear makeup - NO Black Eyeliner Please!

Back to school means many lessons. Let a makeup lesson be one of them so your daughter doesn't walk around with tons of the wrong makeup on.

So your daughter has come home from school requesting that she be allowed to wear makeup because "everyone is".  You take her to the drug store because you are not spending a lot of money on makeup for your 12-14 year old.  I get it and I don't blame you.

Many mothers don't know how to do their own makeup well so they are not in a position to guide their daughters. This is why the mall is filled with soooo many young girls who have on way too much black eyeliner, bright blush, ill matched foundation and lipgloss that was made for someone elses coloring. Instead of doing what makeup is intended to do, which is to naturally enhance your own pretty features these girls end up looking harsh and overdone.

A great way to avoid this is to bring your daughter in for a makeup lesson. This will ensure that she learns from the beginning what colors suit her best, how to apply them so she looks well made up, not over made up and how to avoid the pitfalls that come from not knowing what the right thing to do is.

As a mother of a beautiful 12 year old the last thing I want to see is her cover up all that beauty and take away from it with the wrong makeup. I also don't want her looking 17 when she is 12. There is a right way to use makeup, learning how to do it now will serve her for the rest of her life.

That is wonderful. I have two kids in the Manalapan school districts that have TS and I just had aRead More horrible experience with the school system regarding services. This is so inspiring that your daughter was able to accomplish her goals.
