Reminder: Manalapan Recycling Pickup Is Every Wednesday

It's okay to mix all bottles, cans, and papers into one container

You can now place all recyclables in one bin for curbside collection.

WHAT CAN I RECYCLE?

  • Glass bottles & jars
  • All plastic containers (ex: shampoo, milk jugs, drink bottles)
  • Tin & aluminum foil
  • Empty Aerosol cans
  • Clean aluminum foil
  • Pie tins
  • Hangers
  • Most paper (ex: corrugated cardboard, paper milk/juice cartons, paperboard boxes, newspapers & inserts, magazines, brochures & catalogues, mail & greeting cards, office paper, photo paper, wrapping paper, tissue paper, file folders, phone books w/ the cover removed, paper bags, empty toilet paper rolls, shredded paper in a paper bag)
RECYCLING TIPS
  1. Empty and lightly rinse all containers
  2. You do NOT need to tie up your newspapers if they are in a container
  3. Use a container with a lid to ensure that papers do not blow away
  4. Containers should not be larger than 32 gallons
NOT ACCEPTED FOR CURBSIDE RECYCLING

Plastic Bags, styrofoam, waxed paper, microwavable trays, light bulbs, windows, mirrors, ceramics, porcelain, plates, vases, plastic 6-pack holders, batteries, tires, paint cans (empty or full), household items (toasters, cooking pots)

NO NEED TO REMOVE

Tape, paper clips, staples, stamps, labels, metal fasteners, rubber bands, plastic tabs, post-it notes, spiral binding

DROP OFF ITEMS

The following items are not collected at the curb but are recyclable:

  • Electronics
  • Metals
  • Car Batteries
  • Button Batteries
  • Leaves
Please drop them off at the Recycling Center:
