Tax Payment Reminder: 2nd Quarter taxes are due May 1, 2014. As per NJSA 54:5-67, the Township of Manalapan permits a 10 day grace period. Since May 10th falls on a weekend, the grace period will be extended to Monday, May 12, 2014. Any payments received after 4:00 p.m. on May 12th will accrue interest charges calculated from the original due date of May 1st.
The Tax Collector's Office closes at 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. After hours, taxpayers may utilize the drop box located on the Tax Collector's Office door. The drop box is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Payments left in the drop box after 4:00 p.m. will be considered received as of the next business day.
The Tax Collector’s Office will have extended hours on Thursday, May 1st from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
