Celebrate 200 years of "Pride and Prejudice" with Eloisa James!

2013 marks the 200th anniversary of the publication of Jane Austen's landmark novel,  Pride and Prejudice.

To celebrate this marvelous book, Professor Mary Bly, Shakespearean scholar and New York Times best-selling romance novelist under the pen name of Eloisa James, will  present Channeling Jane: Creating the Lizzy of Today (and Tomorrow) on  Saturday, October 5 at 2 p.m. at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters in Manalapan.

James will speak about heroine Elizabeth Bennett's literary ancestors and her modern day descendants in her presentation and will be available to sign books. Library Headquarters is located at 125 Symmes Drive in Manalapan, 07726.

James Teaches at Fordham University and has a M. Phil from Oxford University and a Ph.D in Renaissance Studies from Yale University.  She has also served as head of Fordham's Creative Writing Program.

James is the author of best-selling romance novels, mostly set in the Regency Period, and also a recent memoir, Paris in Love. She is a 2013 winner of the RITA, the top award for romance fiction from the Romance Writers of America.
