Former Englishtown Post Office Clerk Dies at 91

Wanda Stoholski served as a clerk at the U.S. Post Office in Englishtown for 15 years.

Wanda P. (Gembinski) Stoholski, 91, formerly of Middlesex Co., died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 at the Twining Village Nursing Home, South Hampton, PA. Born in Johnstown, Pa., Stoholski was raised in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Old Bridge for 50 years and the Rossmoor community in Monroe Township for 8 years before moving to Holland, Pa. last year.

She was employed for 15 years as a clerk at the U.S. Post office in Englishtown, retiring in 1984. Stoholski was a volunteer for the Old Bridge chapter of the Deborah Hospital Foundation.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael in 1998. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ken Thomas of Lafayette, CO; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Brenda Stoholski of Perkasie, PA; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 16th at the Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. James RC Church, Jamesburg. Burial will be in Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan, NJ. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Thursday, August 15th, 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Twining Village Residents Trust Fund, 280 Middle Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966.
