Obituary: Florence R. Zielinski

Zielinski lived in Englishtown for 15 years.

Florence R. Zielinski, 84, passed away September 30, 2012 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Jersey City, Florence had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Englishtown 15 years ago. She was a secretary for the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office for 16 years retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Englishtown. Florence had an active life; she enjoyed reading, writing stories, playing bingo, and knitting.

Florence was predeceased by her husband, Adam J. Zielinski, in 1986, and her sons, Thomas and Adam Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Eileen & Edward Muirhead; her son and daughter in law, David & Madeline Zielinski; her son, Peter Zielinski; her daughter, Kathleen Maita; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Marilyn Reed and Imelda Bishop.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ, and on Thursday morning from 9-10am, with a funeral service at 10am at the funeral home.
