Obituary: Ida Zederbaum, 88

Zederbaum was a resident of the Covered Bridge community.

Ida Zederbaum of Covered Bridge, Manalapan and formerly of Edison, died at Centra State Hospital on Monday, March 26, 2012. She was 88.

Born in the Bronx, Ida settled in Edison, with her husband Zeke and family in 1964. Ida lived in Edison until becoming a snowbird and alternated between West Palm Beach and Manalapan.

Ida was pre-deceased by her husband, Herman “Zeke” Zederbaum.

She is survived by a son Robert, an engineer in Hunterdon County residing in Bridgewater; Scott and wife Michele of Edison, and three daughters, Charlotte and husband Herb, Deborah and husband Phil and Melody and husband Ed; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will take place on Thursday, March 29, 1:30 p.m. at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. A visitation Shiva immediately following at the Zederbaum home, 7 Oliver Ave., Edison, until 9 p.m.
