Retired Member of Englishtown's Local Union 9 Dies

Paul Auth was employed at Local Union 9 Plumbers and Pipefitters for 25 years.

Paul J. Auth, 64, died on Sunday, Dec. 29. Paul was born in Perth Amboy and grew up in Manasquan. He has been a resident of Toms River for the last 30 years. He is a retired member of the Local Union 9 Plumbers and Pipefitters, Englishtown, where he was employed for 25 years. He has been employed as a plumbing inspector for Toms River for the last 10 years. He was a member of the Ocean County Baptist Church, Toms River. He was an Army veteran.

Auth is predeceased by his parents, Anton and F. Isabel Auth, and a sister, Virginia Bisbing. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Janice; daughter, Lynne Minter and grandson, Jaden Minter, Royersford, PA; his brother and best friend, Tom Adams and sister-in-law, Lawrey Adams, Beachwood; his sister and brother-in-law, Tom and Sandra Piercy, Carlisle, PA; his brother, Anton Auth, NC; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Henry and Judith Bariexca, Pemberton, many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Charlie.

Auth loved and was loved by everyone who knew him. He always had a smile and enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed boating, traveling, and riding his Harley.

Visiting will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, with services at 7 p.m. at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ocean County Baptist Church, Toms River, or to your favorite charity in Auth's memory.
