Chatter around FRHSD that food service workers may lose their jobs...

It's spreading through the district that as a new company comes in starting in Sept. the workers may not have jobs to return to. Is this fair to let all these people go?

Private companies bid on the contract for the lunch programs. How would taxes have anything to do with these women going back to their jobs? Is it ok for the people mentioned in that article to be given raises when these women are facing unemployment?

Very well said Maxine!!! A friend of mine works in one of the high school cafeteria's in our district and has been working there for many years. The kids there love them. So NO, this would not be fair at all to let these people go. Many of them are single mom's that need their jobs. Hopefully this will not happen!!!!!
