3 Home Burglaries and 1 Attempt within Two Weeks

A list of recent home burglaries and attempts.

The have reported three home burglaries and one attempted home invasion within the past two weeks.

  • A Tamarack Drive residence was burglarized during the late afternoon of April 2, police said. Entry was made through a window of a rear door that was smashed. The burglar, or burglars, stole a strong box, various jewelry, coins, savings bonds, and a blanket. The homeowner, a 69-year-old woman, told police she left the house at 7:25 a.m. and upon returning at 4:30 p.m. she discovered that the house had been entered.
  • A Dancer Lane home was burglarized between March 30 and April 1. While the house was vacant, there were some personal items still inside of the home, police said. 
  • On March 29, someone was attempting to gain entry into a Tracey Drive home sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. by trying to pry open the garage door of the residence. The home invasion attempt was unsuccessful. 
  • A 45-year-old Manalapan man told police that $8,200 worth of various items were stolen from his home sometime between March 16 and March 21. The man signed a criminal complaint against an alleged 22-year-old male suspect, police said. The case is pending court.
