Apple iMac Computer Stolen from Manalapan Best Buy

A man distracted a sales associate while another man placed the computer into a cart and left the store, police said.

Two men and one woman reportedly stole an Apple iMac computer from the Best Buy in Manalapan, according to the Manalapan Police Department.

Patrolmen responded to the Best Buy on Saturday, Oct. 6 shortly after 4 p.m. in reference to a shoplifting incident which occurred on Thursday, Sept. 6.

Loss Prevention officers told police that one man distracted a sales associate while another man placed an Apple iMac computer into a shopping cart and then left the store without paying for it.

A woman, whom police believe to be involved in the theft, was briefly inside of the store, but exited without incident.
