Authorities Work to Remove Person Stuck in United Water Facility Pipe

According to reports, the victim broke into the Wilson Avenue facility Thursday night.

A person is stuck a water pipe at the United Water facility on Wilson Avenue in Manalapan Township, according to a report by the Asbury Park Press

Officials told WABC that the victim broke into the facility overnight and climbed into a 24-inch pipe and became stuck. 

Manalapan first responders are at the scene helping to remove the person and a medivac has been called to transport the victim, according to the report. In addition, the New Jersey Task Force 1 has been called to the scene to assist, as they help victims who are trapped in structurally collapsed buildings or spaces, the report said.

Further aid from Monroe Township and the Middlesex Township Urban Search and Rescue has been called for help, according to APP.
