Brooklyn Man Sentenced in $350K Englishtown Pharmacy Burglary Plot

A Brooklyn man received a 63-month prison sentence on Monday for his role in conspiring to steal oxycodone from the Union Hill-Supremo Pharmacy in Englishtown, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced in a press release.

James Zarbailov, 23, and two other Brooklyn men burglarized the pharmacy shortly after 4 a.m. on June 12, 2012. The trio filled 17 garbage bags and two cardboard boxes with merchandise from the pharmacy, including 1,988 dosage units of methylphenidate, 500 dosage units of hydromorphone, 300 dosage units of oxymorphone and 3,800 dosage units of oxycodone, according to the release. Authorities placed the value of the medication at $350,000.

Zarbailov previously pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute oxycodone.

Zarbailov will also serve three years of supervised release and pay $334,722.12 in restitution. His co-conspirators, David Mordukhaev, 22, and Dzheykhun Avshalumov, 24, will be sentenced in December, according to the press release
