Clothing Stolen from Commuter Lot Donation Bins

This is the second time that donated items have been illegally removed from the donation bins, according to police.

The donation bins located at the Towne Pointe Shopping Center and Symmes Drive commuter lot have been burglarized again, according to Manalapan Police.

The supervisor of Northeastern Import Export told police that someone has been removing clothing and other items from the donation bins. The thefts occurred between May 19 and June 2, police said. According to police, approximately 3,000 pounds of items, with an estimated value of about $1,700, were stolen from the bins.

These same donation bins were previously burglarized in March. A representative of Northeastern Import Export also informed police that the donated clothing within the bins had been removed.
