Englishtown Police Arrest Man for Using Alleged Fake Mexican ID
The individual allegedly provided an Englishtown police officer with a fraudulent Mexico Consular identification card and fraudulent Mexico driver's license.
Francisco J. Pena-Ceballos, of Lakewood, was arrested by on Sunday, April 22 for allegedly carrying a fraudulent identification card.
Pena-Ceballos, 23, was stopped by Pfc. Alexander DiNicola III in Englishtown for a motor vehicle stop and, when asked to exhibit his driver’s license, Pena-Ceballos provided the officer with a fraudulent Mexico Consular identification card and fraudulent Mexico driver’s license, according to the arrest warrant issued by the .
Pena-Ceballos was arrested and charged with providing fictitious identification to a law enforcement officer, which is a fourth degree crime. The New Jersey Immigration and Customs Enforcement (NJ ICE) Criminal Alien agency have also submitted similar charges against Pena-Ceballos.
Bail was set at $1,500 and Pena-Ceballos is currently remanded in Monmouth County Correctional Institute. His initial appearance in front of Judge John G. Colannino is scheduled for May 2 at 5 p.m.
