Marlboro Man Allegedly Videotapes Minor Showering in Manalapan Home

The man reportedly placed a small video camera in a shared bathroom shower in a home he owns in Manalapan.

Ronald Pauley, 64, of Marlboro was arrested by Manalapan Police on Oct. 3 for allegedly video recording a minor in the shower.

According to an arrest warrant issued by the Manalapan Police Department, Pauley placed a white Flip video camera in the common bathroom shower behind shampoo bottles at a home Pauley owned in Manalapan.

The camera video recorded a 16-year-old girl in the shower without the victim’s knowledge. The arrest warrant alleges that the video recording was placed in the shower with the purpose to view her intimated parts.

A statement from the victim led to a police investigation which subsequently led to an arrest.

According to the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, Pauley also has six additional counts against him out of an incident out of Marlboro Township. Pauley’s additional charges include two counts of sexual assault for a victim under 4-years-old, two counts of child endangerment, and two counts of invasion of privacy by video taping exposed intimate parts or sexual acts.  

He was arrested by Marlboro Police on Thursday, Sept. 27 for allegedly placing a Flip camera in the bathroom and other rooms of his Marlboro home in order to watch a minor under the age of twelve and a teenager undress.

Again, the camera was placed there without the consent or knowledge of the victims, according to an police. Marlboro police obtained film and photos of the minors in Pauley’s Marlboro home.

Pauley is ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims and not return to the Manalapan home. He is currently remanded in Monmouth County Correctional Institute in default of $590,000 for both incidents. His initial appearance in front of Judge John G. Colonannino is scheduled for Oct. 15 at 9 a.m.
