Helicopter Transports Pine Brook School Custodian After Fall at Work

The man had recently undergone spine and neck surgery.

A MONOC Helicopter transported a 41-year-old Englishtown man to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital this morning after he fell at . The man was a custodian at the school and was cleaning lighting fixtures at the time of the fall.

According to Capt. Michael Fountain of the , police responded to Pine Brook School at around 10:30 a.m. for the report of a fall victim. Monroe BLS responded as mutual aid, according to police and a landing zone was set up on the school's property.

The victim had recently undergone a neck and spinal procedure and EMS personnel were alerted to his medical history, Fountain said.
