Jewelry Stolen from Manalapan Homes

Jewelry has been reportedly stolen from several Manalapan homes.

Several instances of stolen jewelry have been reported to Manalapan Police in late May.

A 35-year-old Manalapan woman told police that a diamond necklace and diamond tennis bracelet were stolen from her home at some point in the month before May 28. The two pieces of jewelry were taken from her Demarest Drive home.

A diamond necklace valued at $5,000 was reportedly stolen from a Sheppard Way home. The 55-year-old woman who owns the necklace reported the theft to police on May 24. The woman said that the necklace went missing around the same time a cleaning service came in and cleaned her home, according to police.

Jewelry was also stolen in a burglary at a Deepwater Circle home. When the homeowners came home after a weekend trip on May 27 they discovered that their home had been burglarized, according to police. In addition to the stolen jewelry, a Shark vacuum cleaner, and Keurig coffee maker were stolen.

Anyone with information on these thefts may contact the police department at 732-446-4300.
