Jewelry Valued at $11,600 Stolen from Manalapan Home

There were no signs of forced entry, police said.

The Manalapan Police Department have reported an additional jewelry theft from a Manalapan home. There have been a number of home burglaries in Manalapan this March where jewelry was taken from the home, including one on Saupe Drive and also on Waterville Road and St. Andrews Place.

An 80-year-old Manalapan woman told police that her jewelry was stolen from her bedroom at some point between August 1, 2012 and March 13, 2013. The missing jewelry is valued at $11,600, according to police. 

The victim told police that she does not know who could have taken her jewelry. A police investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry. This case is still under investigation.
