Local Teen Arrested in Connection with Tarrytown Rd. Attempted Robbery
The suspect has been remanded to MCCI in lieu of $105,000 bail.
On July 13, Samuel Norman, a resident of Manalapan, was served with complaints at Manalapan Police Headquarters in regards to the in early hours of June 26.
The incident involved several males approaching a motor vehicle containing four male individuals with the intent to steal money. While no money was stolen, one of the victims was pulled from the vehicle and physically assaulted; minor injuries were sustained and minimal damage on the vehicle was reported.
Norman, 18, was remanded to Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $105,000 bail, according to a press release issued by the Manalapan Police Department. The case is pending court.

In March of 2011, Norman was arrested by the Holmdel Police in conjunction with which he allegedly participated in with his twin brother Thomas and a friend, Timothy Kegley.
