Manalapan Guitar Teacher Indicted on Sexual Assault, Child Endangerment Charges

Frank Diliberto Jr. is accused of assaulting a student.

The Monmouth County grand jury indicted Musician's Workshop guitar teacher Frank Diliberto Jr., for allegedly sexually assaulting a student who was under 13-years-old during their lessons.

Diliberto, 60, a Manalapan resident, was charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child after investigators learned that he was spanking a music student for his own sexual gratification and had done so on multiple occasions, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni. He was arrested and charged on May 30. Judge David F. Bauman, P.J.C. had ordered him not to return to the scene of the crime and not to have contact with the victim.

According to the indictment issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, the jury indicted Diliberto on one count of sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child for committing an act of sexual contact on the victim on various dates between January and May 2013.
