Manalapan Home Reportedly Burglarized While Owner At Work

Police report that a home was burglarized on April 22 in a neighborhood off Union Hill Road.

Manalapan Police say that a house on Templar Road was burglarized on April 22 and $10,000 worth of goods were reportedly stolen. 

The homeowner called police at 9:05 p.m. to reported his residence was forcibly entered while he was at work. Templar Road is off Ivanhoe Drive, in a neighborhood off Union Hill Road. 

In their press release today, police said that a safe was broken in to and $10,000 worth of gold jewelry, coins, and cash were stolen.

Ptl. Matthew Meyler handled the initial investigation. Det. Kevin Schmidt responded and began an initial investigation.  

Howell Officer Nicholas Bondarew responded to the scene to assist in the investigation with his K-9 Partner, Jago.
