Manalapan Man Arrested on Marijuana Distribution Charges in Englishtown

Englishtown police arrested a Manalapan man who allegedly attempted to sell marijuana near school property.

Anthony J. Manziano II, 26, of Manalapan, was arrested by Englishtown Ptl. Phil Accatatta on May 28 for allegedly possessing and distributing marijuana in Englishtown Borough.

According to an arrest warrant issued by , Manziano was in possession of a “greenish brown vegetative matter indicative of marijuana in quantity of less than one ounce within a glass jar”.

Manziano was had this substance in his ownership within 1,000 feet of the .

Manziano was charged with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance and intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of school property.

He is currently remanded in Monmouth County Correctional Institute in default of $20,000 bail with no 10 percent bond. His initial appearance in front of Judge John G. Colaninno will be held on May 30 at 5 p.m.
